If you hire an attorney, they have to go through the lawyer on everything. One thing that you’re required to do under the terms of your policy, is give a recorded statement if that’s what they want. Under the recorded statement, the adjuster has the opportunity to ask you questions over the phone or potentially in person that is recorded, and they will take down the question and answer sequence there. You may also be required to do an examination under oath.
But, regardless of the situation, you always have a right to have an attorney present, and you have a right for the attorney to deal with the adjuster.
