Evaluating Damages – What Is My Case Worth?

“How do you figure out what my case is worth?”

We look at the medical bills, property damage, pain and suffering and lost wages. We also really take into consideration the amount of insurance that’s available. If the damages are really high; $100,000, and we’re just talking about the negotiation with the at-fault driver’s insurance company, then that at-fault driver may have $15,000 in liability coverage. So, it’s really, the underlying damage consideration with an eye to the amount of insurance liability at issue.
