Opting out Of a Class Action and Hiring Your Own Attorney

If you don’t want to be part of the class action, you can hire an experienced attorney to pursue your claim. So, you get the notice in the mail that says you have the right to stay in the class. If you don’t do anything you’ll stay in the class, and the class will decide your rights. You have a right to opt out and hire your own attorney to litigate the case on your behalf.
